Scarred me so badly i never bought another pedal after it Side note: Up until last year i hadnt owned a single guitar pedal since the 90's, i blame myself really (looking back), for buying the cheap Tubescreamer, the TS-5 Soundtank one. So anyways, everyone should prolly get your reviews from others on here, because my 3rd hand one is about a month away For me i was sold on the BadgerPlex as a "never turn off EVER again" pedal when i played the tremmed open b opening of Wicked had never sounded as good I have more than once asked him if i rang up would he put it on the phone because i miss it He likes them for different things, but the BadgerPlex is still his fave. I told him i was a man of my word, and it was coming to live with him He had had the ClinchFX version for some time by then, but obviously, like me, found something special in the BadgerPlex. When i announced id made the decision to sell all my gear, he was of course super supportive of how hard it was (imagine being an SRV fan, and finally affording a (secondsies) SRV Strat - never thought id own one, only to have to part with it a year, and probably 2 hours total playing time on it, later), but after his very supportive supporty messages, he did ask "I hate to ask, but what are you doing with the BadgerPlex?". That pedal i sent to him for a play while i was in the midst of physio (and because i was so impressed by it i needed him to experience it) and couldnt play at all, and he sent it back, but i could tell was missing it, so i bought him a ClichFx version (because BadgerPlexen be rare here) for his birthday, and told him if i had to give up playing the BadgerPlex would be going back to live with him. Same friend i sent my BadgerPlex (Vintage) Pre to when i had to give up playing, so that gives you an idea of how much i like him. So im waiting on some clips from his at some point. I ordered 3 Grover Drive kits for myself, him and another mate, but of course typically mine didnt work, and by then id made the decision to sell my stuff.so i didnt bother troubleshooting it, so i never heard it. Im still waiting on a clip from the DIY Grover Drive (Dover Drive) clone - we're both massive EJ fans. Some time after that i might get a clip But the review will be a good yardstick, he has some really good enty of high end pedals (he got me into buying the True Spring, and we twinned again on owning D&M Drives), amps, and including an original vintage Gretsch 6120 ive more than once promised to murder him for Though he sleeps safer at night these days, since i retired Hehe due to the fact im ordering it for a friend, to live variously through him, my joy path will be:ΔΆ9/3/22 - Reposted to mate in Vic, Australia
